Uniconta for Mac

Uniconta can only be run in Safari and requires that Silverlight is installed. Due to these limitations, we do not provide support for Uniconta for Mac.

Also note that the following can only be run in Windows and not on a Mac:

  • Uniconta Report Generator
  • Uniconta Dashboard for Windows
  • Out of Browser (OOB) versions do not work due to updated security requirements in the latest versions of OS

MacOS 10.15 Catalina does not support Uniconta for Mac

Apple previously announced that their operating system would only support applications that run on 64-bit software in the future.

Since Uniconta for Mac requires Silverlight, which is a 32-bit application, this means that users who upgrade to macOS 10.15 (Catalina) once released, will no longer be able to run Uniconta for Mac.

Read more about the switch from 32-bit to 64-bit on Apple’s website: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208436

Apple has not yet published the release date.
