Creating and printing a Financial Statement Click on the screenshot above to enlarge. The number of financial statements that can be created in Uniconta is unlimited. The number of columns in these statements is also unlimited. All columns can be exported to excel but only 13 columns can be included in a physical print out. When a new financial statement is set up it, it first needs to be given a name in the ‘Name’ field. Next click on ‘Save’. The financial statement can now be chosen in the ‘ledger balance’ dropdown menu. The ‘Cover page’ button in the toolbar/ribbon allows the user to insert a cover page, for example ‘Unaudited’. This text will appear on the printout. The ‘Generate’ button in the toolbar/ribbon shows the financial statement on the screen. Here it is possible to drag and drop the columns to a new location. (Note that this is not a ‘print out’ – remember that only 13 columns can be printed out when using the print icon in the top left hand corner of Uniconta). Select the accounts that the financial statement should show from/to in the detail form and whether empty accounts should be skipped. It is possible to print out financial statements with an external name by checking the ‘External name’ box in the detail form. The fields are included in the Chart of Accounts. The external name is then chosen on the financial statement (once the user selects ‘print’ in the financial statement, not when the user selects ‘generate’). A ‘Company accounts template’ can be chosen from the drop down menu in the detail form if an alternative financial statement is required. See also ‘Financial statement report templates’ here. (English link coming soon) One or several dimensions can be chosen. Each dimension will then have its own line on the financial statement.
Column width (Printout) Enter the ‘Line spacing’ for each field as well as the ‘Margin’, ‘Font size’ and ‘Print Orientation’.
Column set up
‘Name ()’. This is the name of the column. ‘Value’. The following can be chosen from the ‘Value’ dropdown menu.
If budget is chosen then the ‘Budget model’ must be chosen from the dropdown menu for comparison. If included, one or more dimensions can be selected by column as shown below. (Click on screenshot to enlarge).
Put a check mark in the box next to the dimensions that should be included in the column.
