Converting from NAV to Uniconta

If you are using Dynamics NAV, we offer a free conversion tool, that ensures the secure transfer of your data to Uniconta.

We recommend contacting a Uniconta reseller here, since standard conversion from NAV is not yet possible and an export object must be installed in NAV.

NOTE: REMEMBER THAT A USER MUST BE SET UP IN UNICONTA BEFORE CONVERSION CAN BE PERFORMED.

Export data from NAV

An Export Object must be installed in NAV to begin.

There are 3 versions:

• One for all versions of 2009
• One from version 13-15
• One from version 16-17

In order to install on a 2016, the user will need to have access to the development environment (contact a reseller here).

The object should be assigned ID 99991. Remember to check that there are no existing reports with the same ID.

The ID can be edited in .txt files before importing.

Select Report -> File -> Import in the Object designer.

The report needs to be ‘Compiled’ before it can be developed. Check for errors using F11 (Compile).

Select ‘Run’ in the Object Designer.

The NAV RTC client will now open in the users standard accounts and the report dialogue will appear.

The Export format default is Windows. Select where to save the files and click on ’OK’.

Once the report is ready, the files will be in the location specified.
