ProspectsProspects refers to potential customers that the company has not sold to yet, but that they would like to pursue. (Click on the screenshots to enlarge.)
Use the navigation panel to go to CRM/Prospects and click on the ‘Add’ button in the toolbar/ribbon to add a new prospect. To set up a prospect quickly, users can enter the VAT-No in countries where the national company register is set up. Uniconta will then fill out the available fields, such as the address.
Once the company details have been entered select the prospect’s ‘Interests’, ‘Products’ and ‘Group’. Read about setting up interests, products and CRM groups. The ‘Group’ fields can be chosen to record where the prospect has been sourced and which groups it should be allocated to. The ‘Item name group’, ‘Layout group’ and ‘Customer group’, for example, can now be selected and the functions from the customer groups can be used. Read more about customer groups here. Select from the customer groups that have been set up, as shown in the screenshot below.
The ‘Interests’ field allows the user to select the prospects interests, as shown in the screenshot below.
The ‘products’ field allows the user to select the products that the prospect may be intersted in, as shown in the screenshot below.
Once the form has been filled out, click on the ‘Save’ button in the toolbar”ribbon to save. The new prospect and its interests and products will now be shown on the list of prospects. The user can now add the specific contact person to this prospect that they will be working with, for example a seller or an inventory manager etc. To do this, highlight the relevant prospect and click on the ‘Contacts’ button in the toolbar/ribbon, as shown in the screenshot below.
Setting up contacts for the prospect
Select the prospect and click on the ‘Contacts’ button in the toolbar/ribbon. Next click on the ‘Add record’ button in the toolbar/ribbon. Fill out the details for the contact who will be receiving advertisements and newsletters regarding the selected products and interests. Then click on the ‘Save’ button in the toolbar/ribbon. The selected interests and products can also be changed on this contact form.
