In this post you will be able to read and learn about the various sales documents Uniconta offers through the Report Generator.
Invoice
An invoice is a document that specifies and charges payments for the goods/services agreed between the supplier and the customer. By default, Uniconta has an invoice you can use, but if it does not meet your company’s needs, you can also define what it should contain yourself.
To view your invoice(s), select Tools/Report Generator/Reports and select “Invoice“:
Here you will get an overview of your created invoices, where you have the opportunity to fx. grant them restrictions or ownership.
To create a new invoice, click “Add report” where Uniconta’s report Designer will open itself with a standard invoice template inside called “New Invoice“:
From here you can choose how your company’s invoice should look like, what information and fields it should contain. Want to know more about the report generator click here: https://www.uniconta.com/unipedia-global/uniconta-report-generator/
The report is used in Customer/Sales/Sales orders, Customer/Sales/Sales orders/Order lines, and Customer/Quick invoice.
Credit note
A credit note is a negative invoice with inverted sign, fx. when an item is returned.

Quotation
A quotation report is used when a quote for a customer is requested and thereby the customer can visually see what the offer implies and whether the customer wants to accept or negotiate further.
The way to create a quotation is to choose “Quotation” from the following list:
Hereafter you can then click “Add report” to create your own quotation. It will include Uniconta’s standard report template to make it more manageable to get started with making reports yourself.
The report is used in Customer/Sales/Quotations.
Order confirmation
An order confirmation is a way to inform the customer that the order has been received. By doing this the customer can get a quick response on whether or not the order did go through. Whereas the actual withdrawel of money will first happen when the order fx. has been started shipping.
If you wish to make your own Order confirmation report it is done excatly the same way as with making quotations and other sales documents.
The report is used in Customer/Sales/Sales orders/Update document and Customer/Sales orders/Order lines:
Delivery note
A delivery note is a note that follows a delivered order with information like name, quantity, check at delivery etc.
In Uniconta it is possible to make a delivery note that is specified after you and your company’s needs.
A Delivery note (Sales) is used when your company is selling where the customer will retrieve this delivery note with the given sale.
The report is used in Customer/Sales/Sales orders/Update document and Customer/Sales/Sales orders/Order lines:
Layout groups
To use your new special reports, these must be assigned to a layout group. The layout groups are used to specify the invoice layout, bank accounts, and e-mails to be used on the individual customer.
